Litigant In Person was founded after a three-year legal battle against a major FCA-regulated financial firm — a battle that ended with a judgment in the High Court.
The firm had ignored clear signs of vulnerability for years, continued to accept deposits it should have refused, and never once verified income or savings in over 40 months. The losses were over £1 million.
During that fight, one thing became clear: the rules were on our side all along. What was missing was someone who knew how to put it together in the right language.
